Supplied were three Cummins Power Generation QSK60-based generator sets: one 1,750 kW (DQKAA), one 2,000 kW (DQKAB) and one 2,500 kW (DQKAN), with the Cummins Sales and Service Henderson, Colorado packaging center designing and installing the enclosures and associated components for complete packages. The national retailer, part of The TJX Companies, an international corporation based out of Massachusetts, had a stringent delivery schedule and was met with complete customer satisfaction.

The delivery by the Cummins Sales and Service sales team based in Phoenix, Arizona went well above the customer’s expectations. This was done through a collaborative effort by Power Systems Director Chris Tornillo, Power Generation Packaging Center Manager Jerry Johnson and Power Systems Sales Representative Zack M. Houser, along with Business Development/Territory Manager Wissam Balshe and Customer Account Manager Team Lead Marvelyn Whitehurst. Houser noted that the customer was highly satisfied with the quick turnaround time and exceptional product packaging, with fuel tanks and custom-built sound enclosures that meet 76 dB(A) at 21 feet. The well-known Cummins brand and product reputation, along with customer service and great working relationship with electrical contractor Mountain Power Electric, a longtime customer of Cummins, led to a successful outcome. “It was an excellent opportunity for a customer with a large international presence to acknowledge The Power of One™ with Cummins: a superior product coupled with our sales and service capability is unmatched,” Houser said.
